I grew up watching my cousin — a woman of remarkable dedication — running her own glass workshop. She crafted every piece by hand, managing each detail with care and resilience. I often sat nearby with snacks in hand, fascinated by the glow of molten glass and the quiet patience it required. Those early impressions taught me that glass was never just material; it was light, warmth, and artistry shaped into form.
Years later, my path took me to study Business English and international trade, then to the UK for graduate school. Surrounded by artisans and festive markets filled with delicate glass ornaments, I was reminded of those childhood afternoons at my cousin’s factory. The memory lingered: the artistry, the effort, and the quiet beauty of handmade glass.
With the support of my family, who are also deeply connected to this craft, I began visiting factories, meeting artisans, and witnessing their expertise firsthand.
